History of Promo540Promo540 began in the 1990's as the vision of President Stephen Rapaport. Following years of experience in Product Development and Marketing, he turned toward supplying promotional items to large premium companies and brands such as Jeep, Ritz, Allegra and the Carolina Panthers to name a few.

Having learned the promotional products industry, he understood that layers of intermediaries added unnecessary costs and inefficiencies to the process. Rapaport saw the opportunity to eliminate several links in the supply chain. He created a business model to provide clients with the creativity, strategy and service on par with an advertising and marketing agency and combined it with the flexibility of a direct importing company. By cutting out the massive overhead of middlemen, Promo540 offers our client's unique customized promotional items at attractive unit costs.

Initially, the home-based business focused on sourcing low cost promotional items from a number of worldwide vendors. Later, Promo540 progressed in concept and started developing unique promotional items to reflect brand identity and enhance brand awareness for our clients. Today, Promo540 has evolved into a vertically integrated, full service, custom promotional products firm and now ranks in the top 5% of all premium companies according to the ASI and Counselors Magazine.
